Ekosia, a Nantes-based French shop built on WooCommerce, designs and sells the SmartSun solar router. The device detects surplus photovoltaic production in real time and redirects it to the heating element of an electric water heater, letting owners self-consume energy they would otherwise sell back to the grid at around 1.1 c€/kWh.

The SmartSun is sold directly to individuals and to professionals such as installers, electricians, and engineering offices. An online compatibility checker accepts a photo of a water heater's nameplate and returns an immediate verdict on whether the installation can be paired with the router.

Orders are shipped from France within 24-48 hours and come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Customer support is handled by a French team reachable by phone and email, with replies promised within 24 business hours. The site accepts credit card, Apple Pay, and PayPal, and offers a 14-day satisfaction-or-refund window.
